EMPLOYMENT COSTS
Employment Law Advice Costs
Our service covers the work a solicitor usually expects to carry out on a standard employment matter. We aim to offer all of our clients a professional and effective service. However if the matter is unduly complicated or delayed there may be additional charges.
We provide general advice on employment and redundancy issues based on our standard charge rate of £185 per hour plus VAT of £37.00, and in particular on settlement/compromise agreements.
Typical fees for advising on a settlement/compromise agreement are as follows:
Fixed fee of £300 plus VAT of £60.00
We would not expect any additional disbursements of VAT to be incurred in connection with a settlement/compromise agreement.
In our experience, a settlement/compromise agreement takes 5 to 10 working days to finalise from the date of instruction.
